These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the online BARTER game at game.playbarter.ph (the “Game”) operated by Self Made Apps(“we”, “us”). By accessing or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms.
The Game
The Game is a free online version of BARTER: Tiangge Edition. It includes local play against AI vendors and online multiplayer rooms. Product information and the physical card game are offered separately at playbarter.ph.
Accounts
Online multiplayer requires signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure. You must provide accurate information and not impersonate others.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized automation;
- harass, threaten, or use offensive display names or chat (if available);
- disrupt servers, rooms, or other players' experience;
- attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Game or its APIs;
- use the Game for unlawful purposes or violate third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other players or our systems.
Intellectual property
BARTER, card art, game rules, software, and branding are owned by Self Made Apps or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to play the Game. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
Availability
The Game is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change features, take the Game offline for maintenance, or discontinue services with reasonable notice when possible. We do not guarantee uninterrupted multiplayer or preservation of every match record indefinitely.
Disclaimer
The Game is for entertainment. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. If printed rules or card text differ from the digital version, the official printed materials govern tabletop play.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Self Made Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Game after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
